Elias has made music his whole life. But “making it” in music meant learning to market it, so in 2007 he started an agency. His music has found a wider and wider audience ever since, and the two have run side by side. Both come down to one question: how do you get what you have to say to the people who will care?
Through Rockfirm, he has worked directly with national broadcasters, HGTV personalities, global non-profits and regional businesses.
In music, he fronted and wrote for The City Harmonic, which won a Juno and landed a number-one single at EMF, America’s second-largest radio broadcaster. Then he built an independent solo career. Between them: Billboard-charting singles and the equivalent of a quarter billion streams.

Meanwhile, he started building companies and marketing them himself. In 2020, he helped turn a small in-person art show into Square Foot Show, a multinational online event that has sold millions in art and helped artists quit their day jobs. In 2021, he co-founded Artlabel, which licenses artists’ work and has placed it in Canadian embassies around the world and in Marriott and Hilton hotels. In 2023, he co-founded Crown & Press, a gallery, café and venue on Ottawa Street in Hamilton. It has won Readers’ Choice Platinum for art galleries every year since opening. In 2026, he launched Songs In The Round, a concert series that went from an idea to ten sellouts in a row and has drawn in legendary Canadian songwriters.
In 2022, he co-founded Worship Leader Research, an academic study of how the music industry affects local churches, run with four universities in two countries. He helped design and run the largest multi-denominational study of worship leaders to date, with more than 3,300 respondents. He ran the project’s marketing and growth himself and co-authored every article it published through August 2026, including two covered by The Washington Post and Christianity Today. In 2023, Baylor University featured him in its Hearn Innovators Series.
Today, Elias takes on brand and design projects, targeted consulting, and a limited number of fractional CMO engagements each year, for organizations that want their marketing to do more than make noise. He builds the system, trains the team, then steps away.
